Application Process

When completing the application, please note the specific job title as is listed in each job announcement. A separate application form is needed for each position you wish to apply for. Applications may be rejected if incomplete. All employment applications must be signed and dated to be accepted by Martin County.

Applications are to be received by 4:30 p.m. on the posted closing date. Late applications will not be considered.

NOTE: Martin County will only accept applications for current openings and does not keep applications on file. An application form must be completed for an applicant to be eligible for a position; resumes may be included but will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application form.

Veteran's Preference
Martin County awards preference points to qualified veterans.  Points are awarded subject to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 43A.11.  Applicants must supply a copy of their DD214, which must show years of service and type of discharge. Disabled veterans must also supply form FL 21-802, or an equivalent letter from a service retirement board.
