PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment

November 24, 2020

 

The Martin County Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment will be conducting a public hearing on November 24, 2020 at 5:30 p.m.  The hearing will be held in the Martin County Commissioners Room, located on the first floor of the Courthouse, 201 Lake Avenue – Fairmont, MN.  The following item will be on the agenda:

Variance Request from John & Kristine Peterson within Section 6 of Manyaska Township. The Petersons are proposing to build a workshop encroaching closer than the minimum required setback to the west side yard setback and from the ordinary high water level on Fox Lake in an “SL-2” Shoreland Residential Recreational District. The Martin County Zoning Ordinance requires a minimum setback of 30 feet from the sideyard and 100 feet from the ordinary high water level in an “SL-2” Shoreland Residential Recreational District. The variance request was tabled from the September 22, 2020 meeting.

Any persons interested in this public hearing are urged to attend the Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment meeting.
