Second Courthouse

In 1882, after nearly 20 years of service, the original courthouse building was torn down and the second courthouse was built. At a cost of $14,000, the second building measured 63 feet by 81 feet and was constructed out of brick. 

This building would serve as courthouse for 24 years until 1907, when the current courthouse was built.
