Martin County offices will reopen to the public.

Beginning Monday, June 1, 2020, Martin County offices will reopen to the public. Members of the public are encouraged to continue to conduct business with County staff by telephone, email, or special appointment. Contact Information.

Public is requested to follow health and safety guidelines and keep a safe distance from employees and other visitors. The wearing of face masks is highly encouraged while visiting County buildings.

Martin County Recorder's Office.

The Recorder’s office is now accepting passport applications BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.   Please call our office at 507-238-3213 to schedule a time to apply.    Due to CoVid19 regulations, we are trying to limit the number of people in the office at one time. 

Please be advised that the Passport Offices are still closed.  The processing of your application could take several months if not longer.  They are recommending that you wait to apply until all passport offices are fully staffed and operational.  You will be without your citizenship documentation for several months.   Go to www.travel.state.gov for updated passport and travel information.
