Public Access Restrictions for Martin County Offices
Beginning Monday, November 23, 2020 public access to Martin County offices and all other county facilities/offices will be restricted until further notice. Courts will remain open for scheduled hearings.Members of the public are encouraged to conduct business with county staff by telephone, email, or special appointment. The public is requested to follow health and safety guidelines and keep a safe distance from employees and other visitors. Wearing face masks is required while visiting county buildings.

The Recorder’s office is now accepting passport applications BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call our office at 507-238-3213 to schedule a time to apply. Due to CoVid19 regulations, we are trying to limit the number of people in the office at one time.
Please be advised that the Passport Offices are still closed. The processing of your application could take several months if not longer. They are recommending that you wait to apply until all passport offices are fully staffed and operational. You will be without your citizenship documentation for several months.
